Privacy Policy
Effective July 24, 2026
Very Successful Tech Company LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company managed from Israel (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is the operator and controller of personal information for Late to Steal. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to users.

1. Information we collect
Google sign-in information. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image. We use this information to authenticate you and connect completed games and statistics to your Late to Steal account. We do not receive your Google password.
Guest and account information. We create guest or player identifiers, usernames, authentication sessions, and local browser records needed to operate accounts, rooms, and reconnect features.
Gameplay information. We collect game mode and history, words, steals, scores, opponents, results, timestamps, statistics, rankings, and technical game events. Some rankings and gameplay achievements are displayed publicly with the player name used in the game.
Chat, reports, and feedback. Chat messages are used to operate active rooms and are not currently stored as completed-game history. If you submit feedback or a report, we store the message, any optional contact email, and relevant context such as room, player, browser, language, page path, viewport, and request identifiers so we can investigate it.
Technical information. We process browser and device information, timestamps, request and error information, and network identifiers such as an IP address when reasonably needed for security, rate limiting, troubleshooting, and operation. The Service does not currently use third-party advertising analytics or precise geolocation.
Providing Google account information is voluntary; you may use guest play instead. Gameplay and limited technical information are necessary to provide and secure the game. If you do not provide or permit information required for a feature, that feature may not work.
2. How we use information
- create and authenticate guest or registered accounts;
- operate rooms, games, scores, statistics, leaderboards, chat, and reconnect features;
- maintain security, prevent cheating, investigate abuse, and enforce our rules;
- respond to support, privacy, export, and deletion requests;
- diagnose errors, deploy updates, and improve the Service;
- communicate important account, security, or policy information; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect users, the Company, and others.
We do not use Google user data for advertising. We do not sell personal information.
3. Browser storage and authentication
Late to Steal and its authentication providers use local storage, session technology, and similar browser features to keep you signed in, remember guest identity and settings, reconnect you to rooms, and protect accounts. Blocking or clearing this storage may sign you out, remove guest history from that browser, or prevent some features from working.
4. Service providers and sharing
We disclose information to providers that process it for us, including:
- Supabase, for Google authentication and database services;
- Render, for application hosting and infrastructure; and
- Google, when you choose Google authentication.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, investigate fraud or abuse, protect safety or rights, or complete a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the Service. We do not share personal information with advertisers or sell it for money.
5. International processing
The Company operates the beta from Israel and uses providers that may process information in Israel, the United States, Europe, or other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.
6. Retention
We keep account information while an account is active and as reasonably needed afterward to complete a verified request, maintain security, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or comply with law.
Completed-game records may be retained to preserve statistics, rankings, and game integrity. Active room and chat information is generally temporary and expires with the room. Feedback, reports, and relevant security records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, moderation, security, legal, and operational purposes. Provider-controlled logs and backups are removed through the providers’ normal retention and backup-rotation processes.
When we complete a verified account-deletion request, we delete the authentication identity and delete or anonymize the direct account link in retained gameplay records, unless a limited legal, security, or abuse-prevention reason requires retention.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of information associated with your account. You may also object to or request restriction of certain processing where applicable law provides that right.
Signed-in users may use the Delete Account control in the account panel when it is available. You may also visit Delete Account or email latetosteal@gmail.com. We may ask you to verify control of the relevant account before acting.
You may disconnect Google access through your Google account settings. Disconnecting Google does not automatically delete information already stored by Late to Steal; use our deletion process for that.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted connections, access controls, managed providers, restricted database credentials, and account-security measures. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Late to Steal is intended for users age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will disable the account and delete the information unless law requires another response. A parent or guardian may contact latetosteal@gmail.com.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service changes. We will post the revised version and update its effective date. If a change materially affects how we use registered users’ information, we may also provide an in-product notice.
11. Contact
Privacy, access, export, correction, or deletion requests may be sent to latetosteal@gmail.com.
