1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text records a website asks a browser to keep. Local and session storage are browser features that let a site remember information on the same device. We use these technologies only to operate, secure, remember, and measure the game as described below.

2. How Late to Steal uses them

Strictly necessary and security. Short-lived sign-in, refresh, and verification cookies protect Google authentication and keep a signed-in session working. Room-session and reconnect records let a player return to the correct seat.

Preferences and guest play. Browser storage remembers a guest player identifier, a private guest-history claim secret, name and sound preferences, room sessions, and tutorial progress. The claim secret can attach eligible same-browser guest results after the player signs in.

First-party product analytics. Browser identifiers help us count visits, understand game and feature use, and measure a coarse arrival source such as LinkedIn, Google, an invite, or direct navigation. We do not store a full referring page URL in product analytics.

3. What we do not use

Late to Steal does not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral advertising, or third-party advertising analytics. We do not sell information collected through browser storage.

4. Your controls

You can block or clear cookies and site data through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out, remove guest identity or preferences, prevent earlier guest results from being attached to an account, or break room reconnect and other features. Browser controls vary by browser and device.
